Purpose of Meeting
Greetings!
We would like to reserve the Napoleon Room at East Bank Regional Library on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for our annual Social Work Department workshop for VA social work staff.
This event aligns with the 2026 Social Work Month theme: "Social Workers Uplift, Defend, and Transform," emphasizing the vital role social workers play in supporting vulnerable communities, especially during times of societal division, economic hardship, and mental health challenges.
We believe hosting this event at the library will facilitate important discussions on how social workers can continue to make a positive impact, and we appreciate your support in providing this space. We also want to confirm that there is no charge for government entities to use the room.
