The World War II Discussion Group, headed by local teacher and historian Brian Altobello, meets the first Thursday of every month. Speakers focus on the events of the 1930s and 1940s. Free and open to the public; registration is not required.

Join us for Chess Club! We welcome amateurs, novices, and dabblers of chess, who would like to play in a semi-competitive and/or social environment. No registration is required. Instruction will be available on occasions.

The purpose of the group is to encourage local writers to create works of fiction  - novels, novellas. short stories, flash fiction, etc. Writers submit manuscripts to be critiqued by other group members.

Hands-on activities for homeschoolers! For ages 5 & up, younger siblings are welcome. This month, we'll make slime, pinecone gnomes, galaxy jars and more! 

This group is geared for those who want to play (and even learn) the American version of Mah-jong, the traditional tile game established in China about 100 years ago. It meets (almost) every Tuesday in the A/V Conference Room.

Looking for ways to get involved and give back to your local community? Come out and help plan library programs, earn volunteer hours, and make new friends. 

Enjoy a good strategy game? Want a place to socialize and meet fellow game lovers? Come play board and card games, and meet new people! Meeting upstairs in the Special Collections Department.
