More than 3,000 named kinds of Camellias exist, in a remarkable range of colors, forms, and sizes. The Camellia Club of New Orleans meets the first Wednesday of each month and presents its members with a variety of speakers who discuss soil, pests, water, sun, pots, hybridization, and other camellia-focused issues. Free of charge and open to the public.
