Day Calendar

This is a story time for children who are aged 3-5 years old. Pre-K and Kindergarten grade level children will visit us from Grand Isle School and the public who have children in this age group are invited to participate.

Open sewing time with the Jefferson Parish sewing group. This meeting is not instructional, but questions are always welcome. 

Northstar Digital Learning is aimed at helping adults acquire the technology skills they desire in a low-pressure setting. Learners will open a new document. Identify the parts of the Word window, including the Ribbon and Quick Access Toolbar.

Come garden alongside the Golden Gardeners as we work on our very first Community Garden! Learn what to grow and how to tend a vegetable and flower garden during this informal work hour. Open to all ages and experience levels. 

Calling all homeschool families! Each session will include a lesson, an advanced experiment for the kids 7 and up, a storytime and craft for kids 6 and younger, and a separate space for parents to collaborate and share resources.

Gretna Book Club – The members of the book club have moved the event to 1:30 p.m. on the third Saturday of each month. The following books will be read and discussed.
