An informal group for all levels of crocheters. We are primarily a crochet group, but knitters are welcome.

West Bank Regional Library's Storytime takes place every Tuesday at 11am, with a themed craft to follow. Recommended for children ages 3-5. Each week features a themed selection of books, songs, fingerplays, and more! 

Adult Literacy – YMCA Literary Services will hold adult literacy classes from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Belle Terre Library, 5550 Belle Terre Road.

In honor of Black History Month, the Teen Center will be screening Disney's acclaimed biopic, Ruby Bridges, about the first grade student who desegregated New Orleans's Public School system.

We’re excited to host Project Power in our community for children aged 6–11! This no cost interactive program raises type 2 diabetes awareness, provides diabetes risk reduction education, and encourages participation from the whole family!

Looking for ways to get involved and give back to your local community? Come out and help plan library programs, earn volunteer hours, and make new friends. 

The New Neighbor Project offers Citizenship Class on Tuesdays at the Rosedale Library, 4036 Jefferson Highway, Jefferson. The classes are free and are geared to prepare eligible permanent residents for the United States naturalization process.
