Adult Literacy – YMCA Literary Services will hold adult literacy classes from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Belle Terre Library, 5550 Belle Terre Road.

This gentle yoga class is given by Registered Yoga Teacher Peter Spera every Wednesday & Thursday at the Gretna Library. Spera has 20 years of experience in yoga. Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothes.

Join us for Game Night, an evening of fun for everyone. This event will include playing your favorite board games, card games, puzzles, and more! Games and cards will be provided. No registration is required. 

Your local librarians are working on their fitness. Come join! We will be working out together using our collection of Zumba, Pilates, and Dance Cardio DVDs. All ages welcome!

Looking for a fun, chill spot to hang out? Join us at the library for our Teen Café! Watch your favorite anime, play video and board games, get creative with crafts, and vibe with friends or meet new ones.

Come create your own video games and websites! From beginners to pros, all are welcome. The program is recommended for ages 5-12. Beginners should have an accompanying adult present to assist in the lessons. Pre-register for your spot. 

Bring a project you're working on, sewing, quilting, embroidery, crochet, or any type of creative needlework, and socialize with others with similar interests.

Join us at Westwego for a night filled with creativity by creating unique artwork through collage.

All supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring additional materials or canvases that you would like to use.

Come join us at River Ridge Library for an exciting and festive Mardi Gras themed murder mystery night. Registration is required and will be limited to 20 participants. 

The New Neighbor Project will offer a series of in-person beginner English as a Second Language classes.  Class is from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm on Thursdays.  Classes are for adults and focus on beginner English vocabulary and grammar.
