Do you have old family films, VHS tapes, cassettes, vinyl records, or CDs that you would like to digitize? Preserve these analog items at the Preservation Station!

This event includes stories for children ages 0 to 5 years old. This event is held in the Children's area of Rosedale Library on Fridays at 10:30am.

Memory Café is a welcoming place for adults who want to stay social and keep their minds active—including those experiencing memory changes and their care partners.

Adult Basic Education Class
Build your reading, writing, and math skills for workforce success and high school equivalency (HiSET/GED) preparation. Open to adults of all skill levels.

Come garden with your neighbors and librarians as we work on our very first Community Garden! Learn what to grow and how to tend a vegetable and flower garden during this informal work hour. Open to all ages and experience levels. 

Gretna Book Club – The members of the book club meet from 1:30 to 2:30 P.M. on the third Friday of each month (except for this May and June). The following books will be read and discussed.

Join us for Chess Club! We welcome amateurs, novices, and dabblers of chess, who would like to play in a semi-competitive and/or social environment. No registration is required. We have chess sets and clocks available on a first-come basis.

This is a story time for children who are aged 5-7 years old. 1st and 2nd grade level children will visit us from Grand Isle School and the public who have children in this age group are invited to participate.

Local Author Annell Lopez, author of the short story collection I’ll Give You a Reason, will discuss the characteristics of the hermit crab essay at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, April 18, at the Wagner Library, 6646 Riversid

Thinking of starting a small business? Get the basics through this FREE informational workshop series presented by Jefferson Parish Library.

Come and have fun! Learn to play chess, a game that is played all over the world and that dates back more than a thousand years to Ancient India.  Learn the basic moves and strategies! No knowledge of chess is needed.

Join us for Lego Club at the library! Take the challenge and make a cool creation to be displayed in the library until the next meeting! Lego Club meets every other Saturday. This event is for children ages 4 years old and up. 

Join us for books, songs, and play! This event is for toddlers and preschool children.

Listen to a story read by one of our librarians and stay to do a fun craft together! This event is for children ages 3 to 10 years old.
