The New Neighbor Project offers Citizenship Class on Tuesdays at the Rosedale Library, 4036 Jefferson Highway, Jefferson. The classes are free and are geared to prepare eligible permanent residents for the United States naturalization process.

Always wanted to learn the ukulele? Now’s your chance! Join us for a free, beginner-friendly ukulele class designed for adults. Learn basic chords, strumming patterns, and simple songs in a relaxed, supportive setting.

The New Neighbor Project will offer a series of in-person English as a Second Language classes. English as a second or foreign language is a language education program for people learning English.

Join us for an informal meeting of Cricut enthusiasts. Have a question, or a technique you'd like to share? Bring your Cricut and enjoy the company of other crafters.

Bromeliads, with their rigid and often colorful rosettes combined with futuristic looking flowers, are one of the more fascinating houseplants. Bromeliads need to mimic their native climate range and weather.

Notary Service will be offered free of charge to those in need. 

The Jefferson Parish Library, in conjunction with YMCA New Orleans, offers an intermediate English as a Second Language class.

This event includes stories and activities for children newborn to 5 years old.

Join us and the Clear Head Adult Day Care for a craft or art project each week! Caretaker must be present. 

The “Read and Sing Storytime” includes stories, songs, and finger plays for infants and toddlers. 

Designed for ages 0-2, but open to all children

 Join us for books, songs, and dancing!  We start with stories and songs and end with an activity. This event is for young children.

Join us for books, songs, and play! Our program starts with stories and songs before our weekly activity. This event is for toddlers and preschool children.

Read & Sing is a storytime featuring books and songs aimed at babies and toddler ages 0-3. Come read with us at West Bank Regional Library every Wednesday beginning at 11am. Playtime with library toys to follow. 

This gentle yoga class is given by Registered Yoga Teacher Peter Spera every Wednesday & Thursday at the Gretna Library. Spera has 20 years of experience in yoga. Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothes.

Practice your reading skills with a rabbit! JSPCA small animal adoption coordinator Hannah will present information about rabbits, followed by the opportunity to read to a rabbit!

Bring your young child to read with a teenage volunteer. Want to volunteer? Contact Nicole at Belle Terre Library.

Come to the library after school to play some Nintendo Switch games with your friends. Snacks are available for the price of checking out a book!
