Read & Sing: Early Literacy Fun (Ages 0–3)

Join us for books, songs, and play! Our program starts with stories and songs before our weekly activity. Followed by playtime! 

Read & Sing is a storytime featuring books and songs aimed at babies and toddler ages 0-3. Come read with us at West Bank Regional Library every Wednesday beginning at 11am. Playtime with library toys to follow. 

Adult Literacy – YMCA Literary Services will hold adult literacy classes from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Belle Terre Library, 5550 Belle Terre Road.

Come learn how to line dance! Whether you're a beginner or you've been dancing for awhile, our line dancing classes are for everyone. Wear anything that is comfortable to dance in!

"Tai Chi is a mind-body practice that originated in China as a martial art. This ancient exercise offers a range of physical and mental benefits.

This event includes stories and art activities for children ages 3 to 9 years old. Supplies are limited. 

Join us for an Any Book Club. Choose any book from the genre--this month it's Historical Fiction. Read a Historical Fiction book on any subject, and come ready to discuss it with the group.

Come play Hong Kong Mahjong at River Ridge Library! Free and open to the public. Beginners are welcome. 

We will play in the River Ridge library meeting room. 

When all but one child from the same classroom mysteriously vanishes on the same night at exactly the same time, a community is left questioning who or what is behind their disappearance.

Dig into dessert and discover the magic of baking! Teens will mix simple ingredients to create their own chocolate mug cake while experimenting with flavors and toppings. Quick, creative, and delicious—no baking experience needed.

Looking for a fun, chill spot to hang out? Join us at the library for our Teen Café! Watch your favorite anime, play video and board games, get creative with crafts, and vibe with friends or meet new ones.

Join us for evening storytime, followed by a craft! Targeted for ages 3-7. 

Calling all teens! Old Metairie Library is offering a welcoming, low-pressure environment for socializing and creativity in the meeting room every Thursday this summer starting June 11th and continuing through July 23rd.

This event includes stories for children ages 0 to 5 years old. This event is held in the Children's area of Rosedale Library on Fridays at 10:30am.

Join us for Lego Club at Rosedale library! Take the challenge and make a cool creation to be displayed in the library until the next Lego Club.
