Join us for an exciting genealogy seminar series led by our Special Collections Librarian, Ms. Gwen Kelley! Discover valuable tips and resources to help you trace your family history, uncover hidden stories, and unlock genealogical mysteries.

This gentle yoga class is given by Registered Yoga Teacher Peter Spera every Wednesday & Thursday at the Gretna Library. Spera has 20 years of experience in yoga. Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothes.

Vicki Salloum, a local author who has written four novels and numerous short stories, will lead an introduction to fiction writing workshop on Thursday afternoons at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon, Metairie.

WHAT: Bridge Lights is a workshop experience for filmmakers, writers, directors and actors.

Listen to a story read by one of our librarians and stay to do a fun craft together! This event is for children ages 3 to 10 years old. 

Join us for Lego Club at the library! Come and build with us! Meets on Saturdays. Ages 4+; Parental supervision required.
