Welcome to Baby Boogie: An End of the Summer Bash! Join us at the Jefferson Parish Library - Lakeshore Library for a fun-filled event to celebrate the end of summer.

Adult Literacy – YMCA Literary Services will hold adult literacy classes from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Belle Terre Library, 5550 Belle Terre Road.

This gentle yoga class is given by Registered Yoga Teacher Peter Spera every Wednesday & Thursday at the Gretna Library. Spera has 20 years of experience in yoga. Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothes.

iPhone 101 for Seniors is designed for seniors with limited smartphone experience. Participants will learn smartphone terminology and have hands-on experience.

Adults interested in poetry, music, and writing are invited to share and discuss poems and songs by either their favorite artists or their own original creative work in a group setting.

This event is a casual crocheting group for adults. Come work on your crochet projects and enjoy a cup of our Library Blend coffee while you crochet and socialize with other fiber artists.

This Basic's Training is aimed at helping adults acquire the technology skills they desire in a low-pressure setting. Learners will practice how to use a mouse, locating and opening a program, as well as log off and shut off a computer properly.

This event includes stories and art activities for children ages 3 to 9 years old. Supplies are limited. We will read a book on light and optics before completing an exciting craft.

Join us at LOA for STORYTIME! Followed by crafts, competition, and sometimes pizza! Come for a new perspective, take a break from the heat, and fashion fun themed crafts to make it through summer. Materials provided. 

This event is for players, experienced and new, to join adventures across different continents, fighting different villains, saving town’s people and slaying some dragons!

Join us for an Any Book Club. Choose any book from the genre--this month it's Gothic Fiction--and come ready to discuss it with the group.

Two food/cocktail demonstrations at the Jefferson Parish Library – one on each bank of the river – will occur during the month of June.
