Come garden with your neighbors and librarians as we work on our very first Community Garden! Learn what to grow and how to tend a vegetable and flower garden during this informal work hour. Open to all ages and experience levels.

Held the second Saturday of each month, the Saturday Morning Writer's Clinic consists of two sessions - one at 9:30 a.m. and one at 11 a.m. - which feature an author who speaks on some aspect of writing - plot, dialog, chracterization, etc.

The River Ridge Poets group meets at River Ridge Library on the second Saturday of each month to discuss poetry. 

Love chess or just curious about it? Swing by the Teen Chess Club for chill games, good vibes, and some fun strategy battles. No pressure — whether you're a total beginner or a chess pro, everyone's welcome.

Presented by the Visiting Pet Program, beginner or reluctant readers read aloud to animal assisted therapy dogs. Please do not bring your personal pet! Parental supervision required.
