In this class you will learn basic watercolor skills and complete a painting in one hour. Step by step instructions will be given. Art supplies are provided or bring your own supplies. Registration is required.

Bromeliads, with their rigid and often colorful rosettes combined with futuristic looking flowers, are one of the more fascinating houseplants. Bromeliads need to mimic their native climate range and weather.

Come garden with your neighbors and librarians as we work on our very first Community Garden! Learn what to grow and how to tend a vegetable and flower garden during this informal work hour. Open to all ages and experience levels. 

Introduction to sitting and walking Zen meditation. Please bring a cushion to sit on.

The purpose of the group is to encourage local writers to create works of fiction - novels, novellas, short stories, flash fiction, etc. Writers submit manuscripts to be critiqued by other group members.
