Week Calendar

This is a story time for children who are 5-8 years old. 1st and 2nd grade level children will visit us from Grand Isle School and the public who have children in this age group are invited to participate.

An informal group for all levels of crocheters. We are primarily a crochet group, but knitters are welcome.

Join us and the Clear Head Adult Day Care for a craft or art project each week! Caretaker must be present. 

We are cutting up! Join us at Collage Coterie and make your own collage of mixed media.  Take the time to make your own unique piece of art

A new class every week as well as space to work on your own projects. Working on a beading or jewelry project? Crocheting or knitting something cool?

Calling all homeschool families! Each session will include a lesson, an advanced experiment for the kids 7 and up, a storytime and craft for kids 6 and younger, and a separate space for parents to collaborate and share resources.

Come join a professional artist at River Ridge Library to learn how to draw still lifes in color. Topics will include: color theory, use of charcoal and pastel, duotone drawing, layering color, texture and blending.

Aboriginal Dot Art

Join us from 2 p. m. to 4 p. m. on November 16th, for our craft corner. Work on projects, hobbies, and DIY projects with other crafty people. Enjoy snacks and chat with other attendees. Have something you want to try, but never had the time?

Hands-on activities for homeschoolers! For ages 5 & up, younger siblings are welcome. This month, we’ll learn about the skeletal system, do an art activity, and learn about the library! Registration requested.

Attention ARMY! Come join us in painting while listening to BTS' music! Fun for all ages! Children under the age of
12 require adult supervision.

Teens ages 13-18, come join us for a crochet and knitting club! This is a space to work on your projects, meet new friends, and get feedback from fellow crafters. Bring your own supplies, or use our limited in-library materials.

Join us after school for an hour of crafts, games, and activities designed to help support reading, math, and other skills for kids of all ages. Programs will rotate weekly.

Project: Finish projects and work on skills. Bring your own project to work on or work on one of ours. Teenagers and Adults, yarn and hooks provided or bring your own.

Stop by after school and make something cool! Either learn to crochet and make your own blankets or clothes or learn to create collage art. All supplies will be provided.

In this class you will learn basic watercolor skills and complete a painting in 50 minutes. Step by step instructions will be given. Limited art supplies are provided (while supplies last) or bring your own supplies. Registration is required.

Bring a project you're working on, sewing, quilting, embroidery, crochet, or any type of creative needlework, and socialize with others with similar interests.
