An informal group for all levels of crocheters. We are primarily a crochet group, but knitters are welcome.

Join us and the Clear Head Adult Day Care for a craft or art project each week! Caretaker must be present.

Craft:  Painted Rock - Snowman 

This event includes stories for children ages 3 to 7 years old.

Calling all homeschool families! Each session will include a lesson, an advanced experiment for the kids 7 and up, a storytime and craft for kids 6 and younger, and a separate space for parents to collaborate and share resources.

Listen to a story read by one of our librarians and stay to do a fun craft together! This event is for children ages 3 to 10 years old.

Join us for Lego Club at the library! Come and build with us! Meets on Saturdays. Ages 4+; Parental supervision required.

Monday Knitters meets from 1 to 3 p.m. each Monday. Bev Madere, Craft Yarn Council of America Master Knitter, facilitates this group of adult knitters. All level of skills welcomed; basic knitting skills taught to beginners.

Featuring guest instructors, this series will focus on art history and hands on art projects exploring different techniques and mediums. Each class is a standalone workshop, so you do not need to attend each week.

Hands-on activities for homeschoolers! For ages 5 & up, younger siblings are welcome. This month, we'll make slime, pinecone gnomes, galaxy jars and more! 

Interested in crochet? Join us at our January Crafternoon, where we're learning to crochet bookmarks. All supplies will be provided, and all skill levels are welcome.

Come help us kickoff the NEW YEAR with a great book and winter craft.

Chill out with this fun and easy craft! Pick up a kit to create your own adorable origami polar bear. Each kit includes step-by-step instructions and all the materials you need to fold and assemble this wintry friend.

Feeling artsy? Create your masterpiece while enjoying hot cocoa, tea, or coffee. This month, we're making New Years Fireworks Art! We've got all the supplies you need. 

In this class you will learn basic watercolor skills and complete a painting in 45 minutes. Step by step instructions will be given. Art supplies are provided or bring your own supplies. Registration is required.

Join us at Westwego for a night filled with creativity by creating unique artwork through collage.

All supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring additional materials or canvases that you would like to use.

Starting Stitches Quilt Club is a club for quilters of all levels We discuss new quilting related resources the library has to offer, such as magazines, Library of Things, and new books.
