Each class features a different presentation and individual instruction from a professional artist. 

An informal group for all levels of crocheters. We are primarily a crochet group, but knitters are welcome.

Join us and the Clear Head Adult Day Care for a craft or art project each week! Caretaker must be present. 

Come try your skill, invent, and experiment in our Lego Club targeted for ages 5 to 10! Legos provided for you so you do not need to bring Legos from home. Younger siblings are welcome. Larger Legos provided for younger siblings.

Listen to a story read by one of our librarians and stay to do a fun craft together! This event is for children ages 3 to 10 years old. 

Create new toys out of broken toys.

Join us for Lego Club at the library! Come and build with us! Meets on Saturdays. Ages 4+; Parental supervision required.

Come join us at the Jefferson Parish Library - Lakeshore Library for our fun and relaxing Crochet Club! Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come and work on their projects together.

Monday Knitters meets from 1 to 3 p.m. each Monday. Bev Madere, Craft Yarn Council of America Master Knitter, facilitates this group of adult knitters. All level of skills welcomed; basic knitting skills taught to beginners.

This event is a casual crocheting group for adults. Come work on your crochet projects and enjoy a cup of our Library Blend coffee while you crochet and socialize with other fiber artists.

This event includes stories and art activities for children ages 3 to 9 years old.. We will be reading a book about Fall and pumpkins. Supplies are limited. 

Craft: Pasta Pumpkin Craft

Fall vibes, no carving required! Pick up a kit and twist, curl, and shape colorful pipe cleaners into the cutest little pumpkins. Perfect for decorating your desk, locker, or bookshelf—sweet, simple, and totally your style.

Join us every Tuesday @ 4 PM for instruction in the Fabric Arts. Our club's main focus will include: Crochet, Sewing, Knitting, Quilting, and Cross Stitch.

A new crochet tutorial every month as well as space to work on your own projects. Working on a beading or jewelry project? Crocheting or knitting something cool?

Join us for a fun, hands-on workshop where teens can design and create their very own wearable cat ears.

Tweens ages 8-11 can come make an art project! This month's project will be a resist painting. Parent's must remain in the building while the program is going on.

We strive to share what we know and proudly fail at what we don't. We are not in the pursuit of perfection, but of making true art.

Join us for an informal meeting of Cricut enthusiasts. Have a question, or a technique you'd like to share? Bring your Cricut and enjoy the company of other crafters.

Help the Westwego crochet club create its own pumpkin patch by learning to crochet an amigurumi pumpkin!

All skill levels are welcome, and all supplies will be provided.
