Diane Schleifstein, the immediate past president of the Friends of the Jefferson Public Library, will lead a series of five classes of mah-jong at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon, Metairie.
The sessions will occur in the Jefferson Room at the following times and dates.
- 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 16.
- 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 23.
- 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 30.
- 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 6.
- 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 13.
Each class is free of charge and is open to the public. There is no registration.
