The New Neighbor Project offers Citizenship Class on Tuesdays at the Rosedale Library, 4036 Jefferson Highway, Jefferson. The classes are free and are geared to prepare eligible permanent residents for the United States naturalization process.

The New Neighbor Project will offer a series of in-person English as a Second Language classes. English as a second or foreign language is a language education program for people learning English.

Chris Champagne, writer, performer, poet, comedian, political satirist, radio show host and author of a new book titled Secret Louisiana, will discuss it at 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 1, at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W.
