Get crafty and brighten your space with beautiful flower tea lights! Join us to design and create charming floral candle holders that will add a soft glow to any room. All materials are provided—just bring your creativity!

The New Neighbor Project offers Citizenship Class on Tuesdays at the Rosedale Library, 4036 Jefferson Highway, Jefferson. The classes are free and are geared to prepare eligible permanent residents for the United States naturalization process.

Bring a project you're working on, sewing, quilting, embroidery, crochet, or any type of creative needlework, and socialize with others with similar interests.

In this class you will learn basic watercolor skills and complete a painting in 1 hour and 30 minutes. Step by step instructions will be given. Art supplies are provided or bring your own supplies. Registration is required.

The Jefferson Parish Library, in conjunction with YMCA New Orleans, offers an English as a Second Language class.

Join us at the library for our Virtual Gamers Club! For the casual gamer or seasoned pro, come and connect with fellow video game enthusiasts, discover new games, and engage in friendly competition. For adults aged 18 and above.

Android Phones 101 for Seniors is designed for seniors with limited smartphone experience. Participants will learn smartphone terminology and have hands-on experience with a senior guide (seniors guiding seniors).

The Jefferson Parish Library, in conjunction with YMCA New Orleans, offers an intermediate English as a Second Language class.

This event includes stories and activities for children newborn to 5 years old.

Read & Sing is a storytime featuring books and songs aimed at babies and toddler ages 0-3. Come read with us at West Bank Regional Library every Wednesday beginning at 11am. Playtime with library toys to follow.

Adult Literacy – YMCA Literary Services will hold adult literacy classes from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Belle Terre Library, 5550 Belle Terre Road.

This gentle yoga class is given by Registered Yoga Teacher Peter Spera every Wednesday & Thursday at the Gretna Library. Spera has 20 years of experience in yoga. Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothes.
