Take some time to hang out with your friends, have a snack, play some games and chill with your friends at Rosedale Library in the meeting room from 3:30pm-5:30pm on Tuesdays.

Get creative and make a personalized coffee mug! Come sip on hot cocoa, tea, or coffee while making something you can use every day. All supplies provided. 

All levels are welcome. The first 15 minutes will review chords and strum patterns. Children are welcome with a participating adult.

Join us for an informal meeting of Cricut enthusiasts. Have a question, or a technique you'd like to share? Bring your Cricut and enjoy the company of other crafters.

Stephen Rea, author of a new memoir titled Ozzy and Me, will discuss the book at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 24, at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon, Metairie.

"The Once and Future King" is a collection of fantasy novels by T.H. White about the legend of King Arthur. It is loosely based upon the 1485 work Le Morte d'Arthur by Sir Thomas Mallory.

Local representatives from the American Association of Retired Persons help individuals with their taxes from Feb. 2 to April 14. Free of charge and open to the public. Appointments are required by going to aarpfoundation.org/taxes.

Read & Sing is a storytime featuring books and songs aimed at babies and toddler ages 0-3. Come read with us at West Bank Regional Library every Wednesday beginning at 11am. Playtime with library toys to follow. 

This gentle yoga class is given by Registered Yoga Teacher Peter Spera every Wednesday & Thursday at the Gretna Library. Spera has 20 years of experience in yoga. Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothes.

Adult Literacy – YMCA Literary Services will hold adult literacy classes from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Belle Terre Library, 5550 Belle Terre Road.
