The New Neighbor Project offers Citizenship Class on Tuesdays at the Rosedale Library, 4036 Jefferson Highway, Jefferson. The classes are free and are geared to prepare eligible permanent residents for the United States naturalization process.

The New Neighbor Project will offer a series of in-person beginner English as a Second Language classes.  Class is from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm on Thursdays.  Classes are for adults and focus on beginner English vocabulary and grammar.

Walter Wolf, a volunteer with the World War II Museum, will give a talk on Operation Fortitude at 7 p.m., Thursday, May 1, at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon, Metairie.
