Missed Lego Club? Don’t worry! Today is all about letting your imagination soar and building whatever you’d like! Please call the Children’s Desk at (504) 364-3664 ahead for the latest information.

Come try your skill, invent, and experiment in our new Lego Club targeted for ages 5 to 10. LEGOs will be provided for you so you don’t need to bring LEGOs from home. Lego Club first comes, first serve, while supplies last.

Speak on it; A Poetry Experience welcomes participants to share their voices through original poetry. Through guided prompts, attendees will create original poems that reflect personal expression.

Members of the Descendants of Jesuit Enslavement Historical and Genealogical Society will discuss how the organization documents, preserves and interprets the history of Jesuit enslavement at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, April 18. 

The group meets at 1 p.m. to discuss "Why Does E=mc2? (And Why Should We Care?)" by Brian Cox and Jeff Forshaw. 

The New Aurora Saxophone Ensemble performs a variety of music with six musicians - all saxophonists.

The Jefferson Parish Library, in conjunction with YMCA New Orleans, offers an intermediate English as a Second Language class.

Join us for Creative Connections, a welcoming and inclusive program designed for adults with developmental disabilities. Each session features engaging activities that encourage creativity, social interaction, and lifelong learning.

Adult Literacy – YMCA Literary Services will hold adult literacy classes from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Belle Terre Library, 5550 Belle Terre Road.
