Join us for books, songs, and play! Our program starts with stories and songs before our weekly activity and free play. Designed for children 18 months to 5 years old

The Jefferson Parish Library, in conjunction with YMCA New Orleans, offers a general literacy from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week, except on holidays.

JPL's Makerspace team will be bringing a special activity to Homeschooler Hour: LED circuit ornaments! Participants will learn about how circuits work and make their own LED circuit ornament to take home. Limited to 12 participants.

This group of experienced gamers plays American mah-jong.

Ukulele students past and present are invited to join us in learning a handful of new holiday songs, in preparation for our "Holiday Hoedown," sing along concert on December 18th.

Eight local authors of children’s books will discuss their books at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 2, at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon, Metairie.

Bring your projects, your questions, your disasters and your triumphs, and share the love of making clothing with like-minded people in this discussion and support group for people who love to create clothing.
