The New Neighbor Project will offer a series of in-person beginner English as a Second Language classes. Class is from 6:30 p.m to 8:00 p.m. on Thursdays. Classes are for adults and focus on beginner English vocabulary and grammar.

Gwen Kelley, a librarian at the East Bank Regional Library, will conduct a shortened series of genealogy classes at the Old Metairie Library, 2350 Metairie Road. 

Music performed by about eight saxophonists and perhaps a drummer.

Calling all homeschool families! Each session will include a lesson, an advanced experiment for the kids 7 and up, a storytime and craft for kids 6 and younger, and a separate space for parents to collaborate and share resources.

Do you like card games? Well come join us in our Trading Card Game event! Come hangout and play different card games such as Magic the Gathering, Pokémon, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Even bring card games no one has tried before such as the Final Fantasy TCG!

Join us for Chess Club! We welcome amateurs, novices, and dabblers of chess, who would like to play in a semi-competitive and/or social environment. No registration is required. Instruction will be available on occasions.

Boating Safety - The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries will conduct a boating safety class beginning at 9 a.m. at the East Bank Regional Library.

This event will consist of an hour of one on one VR e
