The New Neighbor Project, in conjunction with the Jefferson Parish Library, will offer HiSET (High School Equivalency Test) sessions from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Mondays, at the Rosedale Library, 4036 Jefferson Highway, Jefferson.

Born in New Orleans in 1875 to a mother who was formerly enslaved and a father of questionable identity, Alice Dunbar-Nelson was a pioneering activist, writer, suffragist, and educator.

The New Neighbor Project will offer a series of in-person English as a Second Language classes. English as a second or foreign language is a language education program for people learning English.

This event will consist of an hour of one on one VR experience (only one person can register per session). This event is for adults, teens, and children ages 10 years old and up.

Doctor Who is a British science fiction television series broadcast by the BBC since 1963.

Mah-jong is a tile-based game that was developed in the 19th century in China and has spread throughout the world since the early 20th century. It is played by four players.
