Bromeliads (Bromeliaceae genera) are tropical-looking epiphytes that are easy to care for in average home conditions.

The New Neighbor Project will offer a series of in-person beginner English as a Second Language classes.  Class is from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm on Thursdays.  Classes are for adults and focus on beginner English vocabulary and grammar.

Cyril Lagvanec, PhD, the curator of the American-Italian Research Library located on the second floor of the East Bank Regional Library, will give a lecture on the history of Vichy France, at 7 p.m., Thursday, ??????, at the East Bank Regional Lib

This is a story time for children who are aged 3-5 years old. Pre-K and Kindergarten grade level children will visit us from Grand Isle School and the public who have children in this age group are invited to participate.

Come garden alongside the Golden Gardeners as we work on our very first Community Garden! Learn what to grow and how to tend a vegetable and flower garden during this informal work hour. Open to all ages and experience levels. 

This four-week course is taught by the LSU Agricultural Center, providing a free food and nutrition education program.
